About
As passionate animal lovers based in the beautiful county of Dorset, we truly understand the unique needs of pets living in rural areas.
Our commitment to providing the best care possible means treating every animal as if they were our own. Ensuring their safety, happiness and wellbeing are always our top priorities.
With our experience, we offer a range of tailored services designed to cater to both owners and their beloved pets.
From invigorating walks, gentle strolls to drop-in visits and feeds, you can trust us to meet your expectations and provide the care your pet deserves.
We believe every pet has their own personality and specific needs. That’s why we take the time to understand your pets' individual habits, preferences and behaviour.
Whether you require a regular walk schedule or occasional visit while you’re away from home, we are dedicated to offering a professional and personalised approach.
Our passion extends beyond dog walking, we also provide safe transportation to veterinary appointments and specialised home boarding services, here at Dorset Pet Services HQ.
We are here to ensure your pet enjoys their time with us, whether they're exploring the countryside or simply receiving love and attention whilst in our care.
I'm a 50 something, dog walker, pet sitter and nature lover. Originally I trained as a human nurse, then transferred into teaching 'A' Level Biology.
However, after the loss of my husband in 2007 I turned to my real passion - ANIMALS! Their company healed my soul.
I have had a dog in my life since the age of 1 year old, Popsy a poodle was my best friend growing up and since then I have always had at least one dog sharing my life's journey, and at times (due to rescue work) Five!

I'm a 60 something retired General Manager of 40 years in the hospitality industry.
I am now living my best life, married to Paula, enjoying the beautiful Dorset countryside and spending our days caring for our client's best friends.
I've shared my life with Labs, Staffs, Rottweilers, a grumpy pub pusscat and horses, and I've loved every one of them beyond words!
Paula and I are committed to providing the best possible care for your animals, it is our pleasure to get to know them and share their time with us here in Dorset.
Having managed several successful restaurants, hotels and wedding venues over a career spanning 40 years, I appreciate the importance of true risk assessment health & safety management.
I have transferred these skills to our Dorset Pet Services, the safety of your pets is of my paramount concern.
I have also renewed my Canine First Aid qualification on 25/01/2026, and it is valid until 25/01/2029.
